Research

The research is focussed on security-relevant technologies. These technologies are interdisciplinary. 

They are primarily but not exclusively in the following fields:

• Optical and Photonic Systems for identification and authentication, sensors, spectrometers and cameras for security applications

  2. Optical and photonic systems: terahertz technology
     
     
  3. Optical technologies for navigation and 3D modeling
     
     
     
•  Enabling technologies such as optoelectronic and semiconductor components for security systems
  
  
  
• Information and Communication Technologies for implementation of security systems:

1. Wireless communication and quantum information theory
   
   
2. Secure Information and Communication Technologies
