Project funding in Germany is changing. Solution- and application-orientated research and development is becoming increasingly significant. New interdisciplinary, trans-disciplinary and resource-combining funding instruments pose future challenges for project management agencies (Projektträger, PT). The agencies are rising to these challenges by expanding their cooperation.
One shape taken by this cooperation is the Project Management Agency Network, which can be used as a fast means of communication and is intended to serve the effective exchange of knowledge within the project management agencies.
