Environment, Culture, Sustainability

Safeguarding prosperity and quality of life for future generations is a central task of politics. In order to fulfil this task we require an understanding of how the economy and society function, of the factors that affect societal and cultural development, and also of how they interact with the natural environment. Global change, sustainable economic management, city and land management and also the humanities and social sciences are therefore key areas of research funding and the main focus of PT-DLR in the field of “Environment, Culture, Sustainability”.
