Standardisation

The Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology (Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Technologie, BMWi) funds projects on “Transferring R&D results through standardisation”. One aim of the funding measure is the gradual integration of research results into industry and businesses by translating recent findings into norms and standards. This improves the level of penetration of the central idea of “Transferring R&D results through standardisation” and ensures increasing advantage is taken of the potential offered by norms and standards.
