DLR’s corporate policy objective is to continue to meet the challenge of delivering high quality and excellence. Therefore, the Executive Board decided to implement a company-wide quality management system.
In this respect, the supreme body is the DLR Quality Board consisting of the Executive Board Members, two Heads of institutes / establishments as well as DLR’s Quality Management Representative. Chairman of the Committee is the Vice Chairman of the DLR Executive Board. On topics relating to safety and environmental protection, the DLR Safety and Environment Representative is invited as a permanent guest.
The Quality Board defines the quality policy and decides on necessary measurements as well as on the effective and economic use of resources. Annually the Quality Board reviews the effectiveness of the DLR quality management system and the achievement of objectives based on the quality report of the Quality Management Representative.
Performing its responsibilities, the Quality Board relies on the Permanent Working Group of Quality Representatives as well as the Quality and Product Assurance Department.
