EUROMIR 95

European Kosmonaut: T. Reiter

The second ESA mission on board the MIR station was the first long-term mission (179 days and extravehicular activities of the European astronaut) with a variety of experiments in the fields of Microgravity, Technology and Space Science and improved data transfer to the Experimenters. Under ESA contract DLR was responsible for procedure development support, Crew training support and for supporting operations activities from the EUROMIR 95 control centre (SCOPE) at GSOC Oberpfaffenhofen.
