FSLP stands for "First Spacelab Payload". It was the first international flight of the Spacelab performed in 1983. FSLP was a multi-disciplinary mission covering the fields of materials and life science as well as earth observation, atmospheric physics, and technology.
GSOC acted as Remote User Center for the European material scientists. It could successfully fulfill its function as remote Payload Operations Control Center (POCC). The European scientists were supported at preparation and execution in collaboration with ESA by the following tasks:
