Launchers

The "beam type" launchers for sounding rockets can be used for vehicles weighing up to six tons. High altitude balloons with a volume up to 1,000,000 cubic meters can be launched with the existing equipment. The table below gives some technical data on the launchers for sounding rockets and types of vehicles which were launched so far. All launchers can be remotely controlled from a block house. For weather and wind protection during the preparation phase, the launchers are covered by tents which are movable on wheels.
