When military rocket motors such as Nike and Hawk became available for civilian research use, it was necessary to develop flight hardware including fins, interstage adapters, ignition units, separation and despin systems. A complete range of conversion hardware for the Nike and Hawk type vehicles has now been developed and flight proven.

Research and Developments
It is intended to continue the development of rocket hardware for other types of ex-military boosters and to improve the existing hardware. Furthermore TT&C on board units for satellites (flown on EXPRESS) will be adapted to future mini-satellite project requirements.
