Recovery Systems

As sounding rocket payloads contain sophisticated experiment and house keeping hardware it is very effective from an economical point of view, to recover the payload and refly units again.

On micro-gravity payloads recovery is usually mandatory to process samples after flight. Three different types of recovery systems have been developed. These are aft recovery; mid-payload recovery and nose cone recovery systems. All three types are available for land recovery and with a floating device for sea recovery.
Recoverable payload weight varies from 100 to 1000 kg.
