EUMETSAT
EUMETSAT, the European Organization for the Exploitation of Meteorological Satellites, operates the METEOSAT and METOP weather satellites that are currently operated in geostationary and polar orbits. In the long run, EUMETSAT is destined to become Europe's central organization for weather, climate and environmental monitoring from outer space.
