The International Charter 'Space and Major Disasters'
The International Charter on Space and Major Disasters is an international consortium of space agencies. In the event of a natural disaster or a major technical incident, the consortium rapidly and efficiently provides national disaster management authorities and relief organisations with data from Earth observation satellites. DLR joined the Charter in October 2010.
