NASA-Sonde Phoenix landet auf dem Mars

Die Grafik zeigt die NASA-Phoenix Landesonde kurz vor dem Aufsetzen auf dem Mars. Am 26. Mai 2008 landet die Sonde in der Polarregion unseres Nachbarplaneten (künstlerische Darstellung).
Mit an Bord ist eine deutsche Kamera vom Max-Planck-Institut für Sonnensystemforschung in Katlenburg-Lindau. Das DLR hat die Mission aus dem nationalen Raumfahrtprogramm gefördert.
