Ready for its planned launch on 16 November 2009 at 20.28 Central European Time (CET), Space Shuttle Atlantis stands on Pad 39A at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The six NASA astronauts on board will be taking supplies and experiments to the International Space Station.
