Die International Space University (ISU) organisiert ihr 13. Internationales Symposium zum Thema “Space for a Safe and Secure World” vom 18. bis 20. Februar 2009 in Straßburg, FR.
Das Symposium richtet sich an Nutzer und Anbieter weltraumbasierter Systeme. Themen werden sein: 
- international goals and perspectives on security;
- civil security;
- homeland and national security;
- military space and dual use;
- space assets and the space environment;
- making Earth safer and more secure.
