Event on December 6, 2016: Space Air Tech / Medical Technology
The Institute of Robotics and Mechatronics at the German Aerospace Center (DLR) will host the newly launched technology transfer event Space Air Tech / Medical Technology on December 6, 2016. As part of a series initiated all over Europe by the ESA, this event will be organized by the ESA, the Forum MedTech Pharma, the DLR and their partners. Since breakthrough innovations are usually created at the interfaces of high-tech industries such as aerospace and medical technology, technology transfer will be used to stimulate market-oriented innovations.
The event addresses, among others, R&D experts, product managers and business development specialists who, in moderated, interactive workshops, will have the opportunity to identify overlaps between the two fields and take advantage of these for their respective businesses. Basic technologies from the aerospace industries and medical technology will be presented and discussed in order to inspire innovative ideas and new applications. In addition, each participant will have the chance to input their own products or inquiries for discussion.
