Researchers suspect that there is liquid water under the surface

he sources of the fountains in the south polar region are cracks of about 100 kilometres in length, which are slightly warmer than their surroundings. Researchers suspect that beneath them is water in liquid form, which apart from on Earth, has hitherto only been proven to exist on Jupiter's moon Europa.
