Lightweight, stable and extremely tough
Alarm at the airport: a jet crashes down onto the runway - the landing gear is broken. But the expected catastrophe does not take place, and the passengers leave the plane unharmed. What appears to us to be a wonder is actually the achievement of science and research engineers.
