Whether they are large or small, all rockets operate according to the same principle. Figure it out with the "Shootinger" water rocket. How does it reach its maximal altitude? Try it out. Launch "Shootinger" from a mobile base. But with a maximal launch velocity over 150 kilometers per hour and a flight altitude of 40 meters you first have to get a flight clearance from the air traffic control authorities. Otherwise "Shootinger" might come into conflict with the Oberpfaffenhofen airport.
