Traffic guidance systems – Preventing traffic collapse
in cooperation with the Institute of Traffic Telematics at TU Dresden
Imagine that you’re looking down at a city with a bird’s eye view: cars move along the streets, there are lots of pedestrians, and in between you can see cyclists. There are also trams and trains underway on tracks. All these road users want to get to their destinations as rapidly and safely as possible. How should these various traffic flows be controlled so that this indeed happens? Develop your own concept for improving the traffic situation at a Dresden intersection.
