Implementation Workshop “enerMENA CSP Teaching Materials”

enerMENA and the German Aerospace Center (DLR) have organised the third “enerMENA Implementation Workshop” in collaboration with the Moroccan Association of Professors; GIZ, Moroccan Agency for Solar Energy (MASEN), the Institut de Recherche en Energie Solaire et Energies Nouvelles (IRESEN), the Agence Nationale pour le Développement des Energies Renouvelables et de l’Efficacité Energétique (ADEREE) and the Office National de l’Electricité (ONE) at the Faculty of Science of the Mohammed Premier University in Oujda from June 12-14, 2012 with the participation of 25 professors.

This Workshop represented a milestone for the implementation of the “enerMENA CSP Teaching Materials” at Moroccan Universities and aimed at introducing the details of the “enerMENA CSP Teaching Materials” to University Professors in order to implement the Teaching Materials in university degrees with focus on CSP and/or renewable energies. Based on DLR advanced CSP know-how that gained during the last decades the enerMENA the CSP Teaching Materials cover a wide spectrum of CSP related topics from
detailed CSP technologies, energy storage and grid connections to their social and economic impacts, including practical exercises.
