In addition to our current vacancies, we are continually looking for dedicated and committed research staff and doctoral students.

From our applicants, we expect a degree in engineering or natural sciences. You may have already gained your first professional experience, for example by participating in a research projects or as part of your doctoral studies. In our institute you will have the opportunity to expand your research experiences and gain valuable skills related to project management.

In addition to strong specialist knowledge, your interest in interdisciplinary scientific work, as well as international scientific thought exchange, is important to us. Since we often work with international partners in our research projects, good English skills are desired. Last but not least, we want you to be a good team member with the ability to work cooperatively and independently.

In the Institute for Solar Research, you will find challenging and varied activities, an open-minded and collegial team, and opportunities for professional development. Remuneration is based on TVöD (Tarifvertrag für  den öffentlichen Dienst - wage agreement for public service).
