KiD 2010 - Kraftfahrzeugverkehr in Deutschland 2010

Der Wirtschaftsverkehr weist einen erheblichen Anteil am Verkehr auf. Im Bereich des Wirtschaftsverkehrs sind die für eine bedarfsorientierte Verkehrsplanung notwendigen Daten jedoch nur in einem sehr geringen Umfang vorhanden. Empirisch abgesicherte Kennwerte wie beispielsweise Verkehrsaufkommen, Verkehrsmittelwahl und Fahrtenketten fehlen insbesondere beim Kraftfahrzeugverkehr bis einschließlich 3,5 t Nutzlast. Eine der umfangreichsten empirischen Studien für den Wirtschaftsverkehr ist die bundesweite Erhebung "Kraftfahrzeugverkehr in Deutschland" (KiD).

Wissenschaftliche Evaluation „Call-a-Bike – das StadtRad für Berlin“

Das Thema Fahrradfahren nimmt in den Metropolen Europas einen wachsenden Stellenwert ein. Öffentliche Fahrradverleihsysteme, die Fahrräder für die spontane Nutzung bereitstellen, spielen eine immer wichtigere Rolle, um die Lücke zwischen Fußgängern und dem Öffentlichen Personennahverkehr zu schließen. Sie sind damit ein wichtiger Bestandteil auf dem Weg zu einem multimodalen Öffentlichen Verkehrssystem, das allen Mobilitäts-Bedürfnissen gerecht wird.

Renewbility II

The federal government intends to reduce CO₂ emissions by 40% by 2020 compared to 1990. In order to launch targeted measures in the transport sector, we need basic knowledge about what these measures can contribute to achieve emission reduction targets. In this context, Renewbility II develops various model instruments, which quantify the effect of various transport policy measures for reducing CO₂ emissions.

OPTIC – Optimal Policies for Transport in Combination

OPTIC is a research project under EU’s 7th framework program. It is meant to develop measures that help to identify and evaluate possible adverse effects, which may result from the introduction of transport policy measures, in advance. Furthermore, this project will develop recommendations for optimal combinations of transport policy measures as a part of sets of measures that will minimize adverse effects and provide positive synergies.

	Modellregion Elektromobilität Berlin/Potsdam, E-City-Logistik Die Modellregion Berlin/Potsdam ist eine von acht deutschen Modellregionen, in denen zahlreiche Demonstrationsprojekte die Einführung von Elektromobilität fördern und veranschaulichen. Das Anliegen des Projekts E-City-Logistik ist die Verknüpfung von Elektromobilität und City-Logistik.

Risk Habitat Megacity (RHM)

Urbanization and the continuous growth of Megacities is one the most important global phenomena of today. Megacities are often measured according to their population size. In addition they are characterized by a high dynamic of change and often they are centres of national economies and thus, reflecting a habitat of both enormous chances and risks. In this context, Latin America is upon the most urbanized regions world-wide. The problems and challenges of cities in the region are somehow comparable and often caused by high resource consumption, deficits in access to education and other facilities of basic supply and suffer from bad air quality conditions due to high emissions, also from the transport sector.
