Test rig for flame measurements at atmospheric pressure
zum Bild Test rig for flame measurements at atmospheric pressure
The experimental setup of a laser measurement typically comprises three components: The laser light source, the test device and the detection system.

Laser systems

  • Pulsed, some in single-mode operation, with frequency conversion and in combination with dye lasers or optical parametric oscillator
  • Flashlamp-pumped dye laser delivering 2 J/pulse at 10 Hz repetition rate, pulse duration 2 µs
  • Tunable excimer laser in the UV range
  • 6-pulse Nd:YAG laser system for laser Raman scattering
  • Dual head Nd:YAG laser for particle image velocimetry
  • Diode-pumped solid state lasers with repetition rates >1 kHz

Combustion tes rigs
