 part of the LuFo VII-1 project ATLAS (Air Transport System Simulation & Te
 chnology Synergy Study). ATLAS is a consortium of 23 research partners (un
 iversities and large-scale research) that was formed from a survey of all 
 German aviation universities regarding proposed solutions for eco-efficien
 t aviation in 2050. The project is to be carried out in close co-operation
  with industry in order to achieve optimum added value for the partners an
 d the German aviation industry.
