Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the HPCN-Workshop 2020 is cancelled!
We hope to see you at the HPCN-Workshop 2021!
High Performance Computing is a key enabler for the numerical simulation of aerodynamics and multidisciplinary simulation as well as optimization of aircraft /spacecraft vehicles and their components. The essential need of tailored HPC-systems in aerospace requires a close cooperation of the application side with providers of these systems.
In this context, the HPCN-Workshop invites individuals or teams from DLR, aerospace academia and industries to present large-scale HPC-applications in aerospace focusing on performance and scalability aspects. The workshop seeks presentations that report on specific requirements of the applied numerical simulation code or other software method concerning HPC-systems and related to aerospace. An additional objective is to present HPC requirements of current and future challenges in aerospace research, e.g. data-driven methods including machine learning aspects, processing of big data (HPDA) and methods for efficient post-processing of large data-sets.
The submission should not exceed 1 page (including references), Arial, font size 11 and single-line spacing. The default language is English. Contributions can cover work-in-progress. Submissions will be reviewed by at least 2 members of the Program Committee.
