Arrival by public transport

From Berlin Central Station (entire journey approximately 25 minutes)

  • Take S-Bahn (suburban railway) S3, S5, S7 or S9 (bound for Spandau, Westkreuz or Potsdam Central Station) to Zoologischer Garten station.
  • Take the exit for Hardenbergplatz, go under the bridge on Hertzallee and continue until you reach Fasanenstraße. Turn right and continue to Müller-Breslau-Straße, then turn right to reach number 8 on Müller-Breslau-Straße.

From Berlin-Südkreuz (entire journey approximately 40 minutes)

  • Take S-Bahn (suburban railway) S41 Ringbahn (circle route) or S46 (bound for Westend) to Bundesplatz station.
  • Take S-Bahn U9 (bound for Osloer Str.) to Zoologischer Garten station.
  • For onward travel, see from the second point in ‘From Berlin Central Station’.

Arrival by car

Motorway A9/A10 (from the direction of Hanover, Leipzig, Nuremberg and Munich)

  • Take the A115 towards Berlin-Tegel Airport/Berlin city centre/Zehlendorf/Potsdam city centre.
  • At the Funkturm interchange, use the right-hand lane and follow the signs for the A100 towards Hamburg/Wedding.
  • Take the ‘Kaiserdamm’ exit and turn right onto Knobeldorffstraße, then right onto Sophie-Charlotten-Straße and continue to Kaiserdamm.
  • Turn left and take the second exit at the roundabout (Straße des 17. Juni). After 750 metres, turn right (before the Landwehr Canal) onto Müller-Breslau-Straße and continue to Müller-Breslau-Straße 8, which is on the right-hand side.

Motorway A10 (from the direction of Hamburg)

  • Leave the A10 at the Kreuz Oranienburg interchange to join the A111. After roughly 20 kilometres, join the A100 (signposted Charlottenburg).
  • Take the ‘Spandauer Damm’ exit and turn left onto Spandauer Damm, which becomes Otto-Suhr-Allee.
  • At the roundabout take the third exit (Straße des 17. Juni). After 750 metres, turn right (before the Landwehr Canal) onto Müller-Breslau-Straße and continue to Müller-Breslau-Straße 8, which is on the right-hand side.

Motorway A13 (from the direction of Dresden)

  • Follow the A13 across ‘Schönefelder Kreuz’ as it becomes the A113, continue on the A100 until the ‘Wexstraße’ exit, then leave the autobahn.
  • Turn right at the Bundesplatz and follow the Bundesallee. Continue onto Joachimsthaler Straße until you reach Hardenbergstraße, then turn left.
  • After 350 metres, turn right onto Fasanenstraße and continue to the T-junction.
  • Turn right into Müller-Breslau-Straße and continue to Müller-Breslau-Straße 8, which is on the right-hand side.

Arrival by air

From Berlin-Tegel Airport (entire journey approximately 30 minutes)

  • Take the X9 bus (bound for Zoologischer Garten) to Zoologischer Garten station.

From Berlin-Schönefeld Airport (entire journey approximately 60 minutes)

  • Take S-Bahn (suburban railway) S9 (bound for Spandau) to Zoologischer Garten station.
  • For onward travel, see from the second point in ‘From Berlin Central Station’.
