The National Experimental Test Center for Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) is being set up at the Cochstedt site in Saxony-Anhalt. These systems are already being used during disaster relief operations and for the delivery of medical supplies to remote areas. The aim is to establish a unique, highly innovative research network for UAS in Europe.
