Getting there
Arrival by public transport
Leave Hanover Central Station and head towards the city centre. Walk along Bahnhofstraße until you reach Kröpke station. From here, take line 4 in the direction of Garbsen, or line 5 in the direction of Stöcken. Exit the tram at the fourth stop, Schneiderberg/Wilhelm-Busch-Museum. Cross Nienburger Straße and walk along the Schneiderberg. After a short distance you’ll come to the DLR SI building on the left-hand side.

Arrival by air
A taxi from Hanover Langenhagen Airport to the DLR SI building costs roughly €30. Alternatively, S-Bahn (suburban railway) line 5 goes from the airport to Hanover Central Station (journey time: 17 minutes). From there, follow the instructions for 'Public transport'.
Arrival by car
From west and east
From the A2, take the exit 'Hannover-Herrenhausen' to join the B6 (Westschnellweg), marked 'Zentrum'. After approximately seven kilometres take the 'Herrenhausen' exit and at the traffic lights turn right onto Herrenhäuser Straße. Drive past the Grand Garden and take the right fork onto Nienburger Straße. The fourth street on the left is Schneiderberg, where you will find the DLR SI building.
From the north
If travelling via the A7, at the Hannover-Nord interchange take the A352 in the direction of Hannover-Nord/Dortmund. Continue on the A352 to the A2. Take the ‘Herrenhausen/Zentrum’ exit and join the B6 (Westschnellweg). Follow the instructions for 'From west and east' for the rest of your journey.
From the south
If travelling from the south via the A7, take the 'Hannover-Süd' exit towards Messe onto the B6 (Messeschnellweg). Once you have passed the Messe (trade fair centre) site, turn onto the B65 (Südschnellweg) towards the city centre. At the 'Zentrum' exit leave the Schnellweg and turn right onto Hildesheimer Straße at the traffic lights. Hildesheimer Straße ends at the city ring-road, where you turn left down the road marked 'Universität/Herrenhäuser Gärten'. This takes you via Aegidientorplatz, Friedrichswall, Leibnizufer, Brühlstraße and all the way to Königsworther Platz. To get to the DLR SI building, go straight over Königsworther Platz and onto Nienburger Straße (towards Herrenhäuser Gärten). After approximately 300 metres you will see the Welfenschloss (main building) on the right. Continue until the intersection with Schneiderberg on the right. The DLR SI building is on the left-hand side of Schneiderberg, which has parking space available.
