Ac­quir­ing high-res­o­lu­tion im­ages of Earth's en­tire land­mass twice a week will be among the ca­pa­bil­i­ties of the radar satel­lites on a fu­ture Tan­dem-L mis­sion. In this way, Tan­dem-L would pro­vide the op­por­tu­ni­ty to cap­ture the dy­nam­ic be­haviour of Earth in 3D and al­most in re­al time.

Acquiring high-resolution images of Earth's entire landmass twice a week will be among the capabilities of the radar satellites on a future Tandem-L mission. In this way, Tandem-L would provide the opportunity to capture the dynamic behaviour of Earth in 3D and almost in real time.
