Tin Bider Crater
The Tin Bider Crater in the Algerian part of the Sahara Desert dominates the local area. It consists of different layers of rock, whose erosion as varied greatly over time. This three-dimensional terrain model has been calculated using data from the German Aerospace Center (DLR) satellites TerraSAR-X and TanDEM-X.
