LNAS pilot assistance system display
The LNAS pilot assistance system shows the pilot the optimum times for carrying out each manoeuvre during the approach flight via a display. The pilot sees the ideal vertical approach profile split into various phases and displayed with the flight altitude and landing distance. The optimal times for extending the flaps, reaching the intermediate flight altitude and lowering the landing gear, as well as the stabilisation height of 1000 feet above the ground, are each highlighted in the approach profile.
