‘Volcano Ash Hunter’ – the Falcon became known worldwide in this name when it became the only aircraft to fly over Europe after the eruption of the Icelandic Eyjafjallajökull volcano in spring 2010. The measurement flights through the ash cloud enabled airspace to be reopened.
