The DLR-operated HRSC camera system on board the ESA Mars Express spacecraft imaged the marked strip during orbit 19,908 on 29 September 2019. The landscape in the images shown here is located in the smaller, inner rectangle. With the help of the legend, it can be seen that the difference in altitude between the highlands and lowlands in this region is approximately three kilometres.
