Im Rahmen des gemeinsamen Unternehmens Shift2Rail wird auf Europäischer Ebene Forschung und Innovation zu Fragen der Eisenbahn ausgeführt. Arbeiten zu Fragen Automatisierungs- und Sicherungstechnik finden unter anderem in den Projekten X2Rail-1 bis X2Rail-5 statt. In diesen Projekten sind neben Partnern aus Industrie und Eisenbahnen auch die Partner des Konsortiums „Smart Rail Control – SmartRaCon“ Railenium (FR), GMV-NSL (UK), CEIT (ES) und DLR (DE) aktiv. Gemeinsam als assoziiertes Mitglied von Shift2Rail haben sie sich zum Ziel gesetzt, jedes Jahr zu einem der X2Rail-Projekte ein wissenschaftliches Seminar auszurichten. Nachdem das erste im Jahr 2019 in Villeneuve d’Ascq als Präsenzveranstaltung von Railenium ausgerichtet wurde, konnte das zweite im Jahr 2020 sehr erfolgreich als digitale Veranstaltung vom CEIT ausgeführt werden. Im Jahr 2021 folgt nun die dritte Ausgabe, die vom DLR ausgerichtet wird.

Railway related research and innovation is carried out at European level within the framework of the Shift2Rail Joint Undertaking. The work related to control, command and signaling for automation and safety purposes is carried out in the projects X2Rail-1 to X2Rail-5, among others. In addition to partners from industry and railways, the partners of the consortium "Smart Rail Control - SmartRaCon" Railenium (FR), GMV-NSL (UK), CEIT (ES) and DLR (DE) are also active in these projects. Together as an associate member of Shift2Rail, they have set themselves the goal of hosting an annual scientific seminar on one of the X2Rail projects. After the first one in 2019 in Villeneuve d'Ascq was hosted as a face-to-face event by Railenium, the second one in 2020 could be executed very successfully as a digital event by CEIT. In 2021, the third edition will follow, hosted by DLR.

Dans le cadre de Shift2Rail, la recherche et l'innovation dans le domaine ferroviaire sont menées au niveau européen. Les travaux relatifs aux technologies d'automatisation et de sécurité sont réalisés, entre autres, dans le cadre des projets X2Rail-1 à X2Rail-5. Outre les partenaires industriels ferroviaires, les partenaires du consortium "Smart Rail Control - SmartRaCon" Railenium (FR), GMV-NSL (UK), CEIT (ES) et DLR (DE) sont également actifs dans ces projets. En tant que membre associé de Shift2Rail, ils ont pour objectif d'accueillir chaque année un séminaire scientifique sur l'un des projets X2Rail. Après le premier événement organisé par Railenium en 2019 à Villeneuve d'Ascq sous la forme d'un événement en présentiel, le deuxième a pu être organisé par CEIT avec succès en 2020 sous la forme d'un événement en ligne. En 2021, la troisième édition suivra, accueillie par le DLR.

En el marco de Shift2Rail JU se está llevando a cabo investigación e innovación ferroviaria a nivel europeo. Las actividades relacionadas con el control, comando y señalización con fines de automatización y seguridad se están realizando en la serie de proyectos de X2Rail-1 a X2Rail-5, entre otros. Los socios del consorcio "Smart Rail Control - SmartRaCon" Railenium (FR), GMV-NSL (UK), CEIT (ES) y DLR (DE) participan en estos proyectos junto con socios de la industria y de los ferrocarriles. Juntos, como miembros asociados de Shift2Rail, se han fijado el objetivo de organizar un seminario científico anual sobre cada uno de los proyectos de la serie X2Rail. Tras la primera edición de 2019 en Villeneuve d'Ascq organizada de forma presencial por Railenium y la segunda edición de 2020 organizada cómo evento digital por CEIT, en 2021, la tercera edición será organizada por DLR.

Shift2Rail JU esparruan trenbideekin lotutako ikerketa eta berrikuntza Europa mailan aurrera eramaten ari da. Automatizazioa eta segurtasuna helburutzat hartuz, kontrolarekin, aginduarekin eta seinaleztapenarekin lotutako jarduerak, besteak beste, X2Rail-1etik X2Rail-5 proiektuetan egiten ari da. Industria eta trenbideetako bazkideez gain, "Smart Rail Control - SmartRaCon" Railenium (FR), GMV-NSL (UK), CEIT (ES) eta DLR (DE) partzuergoko bazkideak ere proeiktu hauetan hartzen dute parte.
