Organised by DLR, it offers you the chance to work shoulder to shoulder with experts from the 22 member states of ESA – keeping your finger on the pulse of Europe‘s space programmes. Over a period up to 24 months, you will actively contribute to the latest research and/or technology projects. This is complemented by a generous scholarship. Technology Transfer and Patent Office (GTP-2020-TEC-ST)
ESA believes that the European space industry should be at the forefront of innovation to solve problems we face here, on Earth. The Technology Transfer and Patent Office (TTPO) facilitates and de- risks the technology transfer process by offering technical and financial support to the space industry.
The TTPO implements its mission by offering the following services:
Technology Transfer Services
You will provide support to the team to identify and promote space-developed technologies and know- how that could find their way in other sectors than space. You may also be involved in the management of ESA’s patents portfolio, if you are interested.
We are a small team made of five hard working and dynamic people who enjoy sharing their experience with trainees and always strive to give them tasks that will allow their professional development. The TTPO has the mission to support the transfer of technologies stemming out from all ESA’s programme, therefore the applicant will have a chance to develop a large network by interacting with ESA and industry experts from the many different disciplines and technical fields.
