The Traffic and Mobility Management division ensures excellent research results and the economic success of the Institute of Transportation Systems at the German Aerospace Center (DLR) in this research field. It identifies short-, medium- and long-term research needs and derives specific research and development issues from them. It initiates industry-specific and interdisciplinary research projects involving the Institute's various fields of technology. In addition, the Traffic and Mobility Management division ensures the visibility of the concepts, competencies and results developed - both internally and externally. The research and development activities always focus on the entire transport system with its manifold interactions.
