In-flight guidance safety and security are deeply connected. The aeronautical group of the Institute of Communications and Navigation develops next generation communication systems for air traffic management. These communication systems will make air transportation cleaner, safer, and more secure. As a computer scientist in the aeronautical communication group of the department of Communication Systems you focus on the design and evaluation of cyber secure wireless communication systems for air traffic management on layer 2 and above. We expect and highly encourage that you utilize your research work at DLR to pursue earning a PhD degree. In this position you will:
