In project OSIRIS we are working towards various platform solutions for laser communication devices. For this approach Modularity in Design is one of our key challenge and design driver. In this topic we would tackle the integration and optimization of our CubeSat laser communication terminal together with our micro coarse pointing assembly. The goal is to realize a feasible solution that yields in a system concept with targeted application towards high altitude platforms.

Your qualifications:

  • field of study: Aerospace/Mechatronics/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
  • You should have a good knowledge of motor controllers, pointing assemblies and space mechanisms.
  • You should have a good understanding for mechanical and electrical interface requirements.
  • You are able to work with SolidWorks.
  • You must be fluent in English.
