Would you like to take part in the development of a new scientific instrument? We are offering a challenging Master Thesis at our department in Almeria, Spain!
We are developing a multispectral infrared imager within international research projects, in order to measure temperature and emissivity maps of solar thermal tower central receivers. The knowledge of the temperature and emissivity are both critical for a solar thermal tower power plant, in order to guarantee an efficient operation of the thermal receiver on the one hand, while monitoring any degradation of the receiver coating on the other hand.
You will be engaged in developing a software routine for the digital image processing of multispectral datacubes, applicable for different test configurations. Raw infrared images have to be processed stepwise, in order to derive temperature and emissivity maps applying ratio thermography.
Look forward to a fulfilling job with an employer who appreciates your commitment and supports your personal and professional development.
