The Department of Nautical Systems at the Institute of Communication and Navigation in Neustrelitz is involved, among other things, in the development of a receiver for R-Mode signals transmitted by marine radio beacons in the frequency range around 300 kHz. The current developments of the receiver are based on a Python implementation using a Software Defined Radio (SDR).
The goal of your work with us is to expand the current R-Mode receiver platform. To do this, you will familiarise yourself with the R-Mode system and the R-Mode receiver so that you are able to implement some parts of the current receiver in hardware.
In addition to your work with us, which should have a time frame of 20 hours per week, we also offer you the opportunity to write your master's thesis with us in parallel.
Look forward to a fulfilling job with an employer who appreciates your commitment and supports your personal and professional development.
Our unique infrastructure offers you a working environment in which you have unparalleled scope to develop your creative ideas and accomplish your professional objectives.
Our human resources policy places great value on a healthy family and work-life-balance as well as equal opportunities for persons of all genders (f/m/x).
