​The state-of-the-art technology in the field of vehicle automation will lead in the next years to a mixed traffic environment in which connected and automated vehicles (CAVs) have to interact with human driven ones. In this context, it is necessary to have intention prediction models able to forecast how the traffic scenario is going to evolve in the next seconds, considering interactions between the traffic participants.

  • Development and implementation of intention prediction algorithm for autonomous vehicles.
  • Integration & testing of developed software modules.
  • Scientific evaluation, documentation, and publication of results in scientific journals, workshops, or conferences.
  • Oral presentation of scientific results at national and international conferences/events.

Your qualifications:

  • Completed academic degree in applied mathematics, control engineering, electrical engineering, computer science or comparable engineering field of study (bachelor’s degree)
  • Some experience in working independently and autonomously on complex research questions.
  • Advanced knowledge of linear algebra and optimization theory.
  • Knowledge of the object-oriented programming (C++), Linux and MATLAB is a plus.
