In our group User Modeling, we are looking for student interns that help us with study preparation, data acquisition and data analysis in the field of physiological measurement of travel experience in public transport or in train drivers. We have several projects regarding these topics and look for students with background in cognitive science, psychology, human factors or computer science with interest in human-related data. Depending on your interests and our needs at the time of your internship, we will define your specific tasks. Currently, one major topic in our group is the physiological and subjective measurement of travel experience in public transport. Here, we have various options for data analysis, as we have already acquired quite some data. Another topic is to distinguish mental from physical activity via a smartshirt. Here, we need help with data acquisition and analysis.
Feel free to contact us for more information on our current projects. Options for bachelor or master theses after a successful internship are given.
