This week took place the Workshop on Causality and Earth System Science, jointly organized by researchers of our Climate Informatics group with support from the Max Planck Institute for Biogeochemistry and the Michael Stifel Center Jena. The overal aim of this workshop was to bring together and stimulate discussions on the topic of causality and its application to climate and earth system sciences in general.
