Is 2010 a magic number? No, but it is a numerical call to action for the dawning decade. This call is especially valid for the German Aerospace Center and its exciting topics: aviation, space, energy, transport and security. The current financial and economic situation requires a clear course for innovation, particularly for countries like Germany, which does not depend for its future on resources in the ground but on ideas and their implementation. This can, in the case of DLR, only succeed if the forces that want to support DLR really do so!
