Best Poster Award 2025 at the 13th International Freiberg Conference on Circular Carbon Technologies
We are thankful to share that our poster contribution at the 2025 International Freiberg Conference on Circular Carbon Technologies received the Award for Outstanding Poster, based on the votes of the conference participants.
The poster, presented by Syafinah Fong, PhD candidate at our institute, highlighted our research in green steelmaking via the direct reduction (DR) route. Specifically, we investigated the impact of temperature and H2/CO ratio on reduction and carburization behavior of two types of pellets: industrial-grade iron ore pellets and biochar composite pellets.
We´re sincerely grateful to the organizers, colleagues, and international audience for their engaging discussions, valuable feedback, and for this recognition. This award encourages us to continue contributing to the development of sustainable pathways for future steel production.
