Green federal securities and CoBra investment
Since 2020, the federal government has been issuing green bonds, promoting the market for green financial products. The CoBra plant is one of the case studies in the 2022 presentation for investors.
Pilotplant CoBra in Cottbus
Arround 60% of the industrial energy demand in Germany is required for process heat. There is a considerable demand for CO2-neutral process heat in the range of 150 - 500 °C. The market does not offer heat pumps with sufficient performance. The aim is to develop, upscale and integrate CO2 neutral high temperature heat pumps in energy-intensive processes in various industries (chemical, iron, steel, paper etc.).
