INDUSTRY forward EXPO
On the way to a sustainable and climate-neutral energy system, energy-intensive industries are increasingly coming into focus. The Institute of Low-Carbon Industrial Processes of the German Aerospace Center is therefore focusing its research on reducing CO2 emissions from industrial processes.
In particular, with research into high-temperature heat pumps and the CoBra pilot plant, the institute is making a contribution to implementing the heat turnaround in industry. The goal of development is heat pumps with output temperatures well above 200°C.
Prof. Dr. Uwe Riedel, director of the DLR Institute of Low-Carbon Industrial Processes, which will be newly founded in 2019, will explain why this is so crucial.
The title of Prof. Dr. Uwe Riedel's presentation is:
"High-temperature heat pumps - key building block of the heat transition".
The keynote will take place on Monday, March 20, 2023 at 2:00 pm at INDUSTRY.forward EXPO.
