Institute of Low-Carbon Industrial Processes meets McGill University
On September 25 and 26, 2023, Prof. Jeff M. Bergthorson visited us at the Cottbus site.
Mr. Bergthorson works as a professor at McGill University in Montréal, Canada and is a pioneer in research on metals as an energy source. This was also the reason for his visit: a joint workshop on metal combustion.
In addition, the focus was on the joint work on iron as an energy carrier, which is being carried out at McGill Montréal in his research group and in our DLR-project "IronCircle" as well as in "Clean Circles", a joint project with the TU Darmstadt and the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.
