At the Research Mile 2024, part of the Maritime Week on the Weser Promenade last weekend (21/22.09.2024), large parts of Bremen's research landscape presented themselves. The DLR Institute of Space Systems was also present this year.
Visitors of all ages were welcome to find out about the latest research results at an impressive exhibit on the CALLISTO project, a reusable demonstrator for a vertical take-off and landing rocket stage.
In addition to the Institute of Space Systems, we shared the stand with the team from the Institute of Remote Sensing Technology (Maritime Safety Research Center) and the DLR_School_Lab from Bremen.
